It was the 60s in my opinion! There was Janis Joplin, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead and I could go on forever but basically the 60s are my idea of great music.

  1. #14 Says:

    90’s by far
    80 were too technoish
    and 2000’s are just stupid

    I agree. The 60’s.

In the 70’s, everyone was dead :-(

Most importantly: the genius of jim morrison

    and hendrix
    and janis

Such great talent and such revolution in that era, I love the 1960’s.

damn, i wish i was a teen in 67, instead of being a teen now and stuck with fergie and Lil wayne

  3. ♫ Rocky Raccoon ♫ Says:

    I’d agree with the 60’s
    Don’t forget
    The Who
    Beach Boys
    Big Brother Holding Co.
    Bob Dylan
    Alvin Lee
    Arlo Guthrie
    etc.

The Dead were best in the 70’s and early 80’s imo.
