Well I’ve read many books about Jimi’s life and I’ve never come across anything that would give me that idea…
As far as his discharge goes….there are many reports as to the nature of it.Some state it was because of a broken ankle and then there’s the ‘falling in love w/ soldier’ story.What I really think is Hendrix was so desperate to get out to pursue music that he would’ve told any lie.There’s probably no real truth to that.
Just think if Jimi hadn’t of done that he probably would’ve been fighting in the Vietnam war rather than representing those who were against it!
