Why are so many women such suck up to men mamby pamyby stepford wives?
This is a question for both men and women. Aren’t you sick of the Laura Bush knuckle heads that pretend to think for themselves but actually do everything their man (secretly) wants them to do. Is there some kind of machine some where, like in the stepford wife movie, that takes their brains away and makes them like this? Can someone somewhere please channel Janis Joplin and bring her back to belt out the Blues? We need far more of that and less vanilla ice cream.
The thing is..if you say you want to meet them..they are secretly seething with anger and are secretly controlling and manupulative. It’s called passive aggressive behavior. They will pretend to suck up to you, while stabbing you in the back…still want to meet them guys? Wouldn’t you prefer someone that was honest and upfront? but still nice?
REad My Avatar: You are probably being well controlled by a women like that and don’t even know it. You don’t sound very bright.

are you high? it’s the Laura Bushes running the world. they sit back because the ideas spewing forth from their husband’s mouths come straight from their own thoughts. ladies like that know how to get a man to do what they want – and think it was all their own idea.

Most women are terrified of rejection because they don’t have enough self-esteem or self-sufficiency to know how to survive on their own. They are so afraid of being alone and whatever stupid social stigma is associated with being alone, so they do whatever they think is necessary and they conform to the social mainstream.

Well, what you don’t really hear about are the men who are completely controlled by women. Women making decisions for the men, but the men trying to make it seem like it’s their own idea. It happens all the time. Anyway, in the case of Laura Bush, that’s what everyone wants her to be. But, if you need an example, Eleanor Roosevelt thought for herself and took action on her own.

Gals like that know their place. Any man would rather have a woman who recognizes her natural inferiority and dependence.

The pendulum is swinging. Notice how much more common manicures and pedicures and high heels are than they were 20 years ago? How about dresses in the workplace as opposed to skirts/pants?
(Yeah dresses look more formal and maybe are appropriate at times, but they rarely have pockets and you see them a LOT more often than you see men in 3-piece suits).
Compare the Lois Lane in the current Superman movie to the Lois Lane in the 80’s movies (the change goes beyond the casting and the romantic scenes either. She is much more of a wuss and a weak personality in general. She was written and directed that way.)
It is not clear to me WHY there is a swing. Maybe it is the fascination with neo-conservatism that has swept the country in recent decades.
A good read that would resonat with you is The Manipulated Man by Esther Vilar. I view it as satire; an exaggeration of reality, but nevertheless reality. It is very funny and painfully accurate at times. Look Inside at the link below.
