What Canadian guitar virtuoso played on the original version of the Buddy Miles song Them Changes (not the LP)

ramboweasle asked:

…he also turned down offers from Janis Joplin, Three Dog Night, and David Bowie’s manager Tony De fries to join David for his ‘Ziggy Stardust’ tour?
In 1972 he formed a three piece hard rock band and they released one **s kicking album for RCA. He’s also released several solo albums in the 70’s through to the present.
Here’s another hint; Buddy Miles recommended our mystery man to be Wilson Picket’s new guitarist in 1967. Wilson hired him on the spot once he heard him play…no questions asked, Wilson simply said, Welcome to the Wilson Picket group, be in New York next week! This is funny, because our young Canadian mystery man was the only white guy in the band! He took allot of boos and jeer’s from crowds in the beginning, but was accepted as soon as people heard him play.
And it’s not Randy Bachman or any of the others mentioned the last time I asked this question.
Little Nipper – Our mystery Canadian guitarist never accepted the offer to join David Bowie on the tour. That’s why you never saw him!

    I am probably wrong
When it comes to Classic rock trivia you seem to be The Master here on Y!A beyond any doubt.
I will throw a name out though
    Earl Slick
One of my fave less-known guitarists
Ever hear The Earl Skick Band-Razor Sharp?

I saw the Ziggy tour, Mick Ronson played guitar. The only Canadian that I know of on the tour, and he was just there as a friend, was Iggy

  4. Bowzer Says:

    Is it Walter Rossi?
