Ninny Imposter asked:
Shakespear wrote his first play at 27, Einstein was published at 27, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin were all successes and dead at 27. Is this the magic age? If you haven’t made you mark on society by 27 – 28, are you just destined for mediocrity?
hilfiger, watched some before and after Winehouse videos on youtube the other day. Her downward spiral is shocking!
☼ إلÙا ☼ , I’m going to try to guess the puzzle. Does it mean, Beginnings of day?

So…what you’re saying is-the longer it takes to reach your peak and be a success, the longer you live? Wooooo hoooo! At this rate I’m gonna live forever!

Good points, I guess so. I wonder when Amy Winehouse will kick the bucket. It looks like it will be sooner than later. I hope she gets clean.

i guess it depends on how u start out – many other greats only got recognized when they were old and already over the hill – its what u set out to do in life and how far u willing to go to get it -

Kathy Bates didn’t act before her role in Misery…she was pretty freakin old by then and now she’s well known. That is the ONLY exception I can think of….you might be right.

Depends on what your definition of success. Being dead at a young age leaves no time to enjoy your success for very long does it?
The Crocodile Hunter Steve Erwin was what I would consider a success in life, career and legacy.
I think Huge Hefner is a failure in my opinion. Money and sexy women are not my idea of success.

I’m turning 29 in march, so I think I’m safe
And no, I’m not destined for mediocrity and I have been very successful

Interesting observation. I’d like to think that if I had that kind of money, I’d be happy as a lark. I’m not sure what pushes them over the edge….but it’s tragic.
