Definately Jimi Hendrix.
Anyone who can play his opening act on 2 hits of acid and still wail that hard is most definately the best guitar player ever.
When you look at the loses Peart has suffered, I think he wins hands down. Most incredible drummer I have ever seen play. (never saw Jimi play guitar though)
I don’t fully get your question. Hendrix, Page and Mccartney weren’t drummers. McCartney can play drums but left it up to Ringo.
Of all of them I would rate by music and social significance the top three:
McCartney, Hendrix and Page.
Neil Pert and Joey Jordinson (whoever he is) are two bit players compared to the three legends I mentioned. Apples and Oranges.
Since Neil Peart is still with his band and he’s as good as he can and he’s still touring and recording he’s my pick. By the way, I’m a drummer too. Rush and Peart rules!!!

You’re missing out on some great drummers. What about Keith Moon? Ginger Baker? Ian Paice? Art Blakey? Look around a little.
