Okay…I’m a teenager and I’m wanting to find older stuff to listen to instead of just the stuff that just comes on the radio. I’ve listened to some Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jonathan Sebastien, Bob Marley, AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and some other stuff and I liked what I’ve heard. What are some songs I might like from them along with other bands and singers? Thanks =)

You’re very smart to go back to the originators of particular styles, rather than those who adopted them later, especially if you’re a musician. If you’re looking for the best ’60s psychedelia, I’d recommend the band Love. Buffalo Springfield and the Byrds are great from that era, as well. And the most underrated ’70s band has to be Big Star. Elvis Costello is always good and if you like distinctive guitar, you might check out Concrete Blonde’s self-titled debut. And I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love Roxy Music. Good luck!
